Excellent, Powerful Bike Light with Extra Wide Illumination
As a longtime night rider, my bike lights are one of my most important tools. Riding nearly 2 hours a night, Iâve purchased and tried many LED lights most of which will generally be returned after my very first night of riding. For 3 months Iâve been using the Victagen Bike Lights 8000 Lumen Bike Lights with its 3 Cree LEDs. It definately has what it takes and is one of my keepers. To be clear, the Victagen in no way can output 8000 lumen but, when I compare them to my NiteRider Lumina OLED 1200 Boost Headlight, theyâre brighter, offer a much wider band of light and the battery lasts longer while costing less than half.WHAT I LIKE- Battery life – when using the center LED at medium-high will last close to 6 hours- The on-off buttons are well located right over the handlebar so the mount wonât spin on the handlebar when depressing buttons- Brightness is excellent. When riding a trail at night, turning on the center and 2 sides LEDs will cover 180 degrees of lighting in front and to to the sides- Brightness is such that I can mostly use the center brighter, lighter LED rarely needing the 2 side LED simultaneously, only on trails- The Victagen never gets hot- Lateral light slits which offer a an unobtrusive side light for better rider safety and visibility- Very nicely built, solid, rugged aluminum housing with no water intrusionWHAT I DONâT LIKE- Charging it is verrrrry slowwww, really slow and will take over 4 hours to go from 20% to 100%- The 2 wide beam side light LEDs are not the same temperature color as the tvery bright white center light- Itâs a bit heavy at close to 200g/ just under 7 oz- The quick-release mount is very tight and even after more than 3 months of use, itâs still a hard to pull the LED off its mount- The on-off buttons can be a bit difficult to operate requiring to go thru the button press cycle again to get the right lights turned on or off

Simple, bright, quality construction
Bought this for night riding my fat tire bike on trails in the winter since night begins around 4:30p here.Fits well and the included mount is secure. âLow beamâ is two outer LEDs with diffusers and a warmer tint. âHigh beamâ is the single middle LED with a much higher (6k + color temp). Not necessarily brighter but far whiter.Things I like: power meter that has large digits and is always on when the light is. âLow Beamâ is great for handle bar mounted position and wide angle visibility. I combine it with a helmet mounted light for a focused beam where I am looking. Long battery life. USB-A power port to use the ample batteries as a power bank. Price is great for what you get. This light is great for single track at lower speeds, probably would not recommend for high speed bombing downhill. Seems well built and functional for what I need. If I lost it, would likely get the exact same piece again.

Really nice light comboð
This is the second of this light that I put on a second bike. This really is a fine bike light combo, with the headlight and a rear light, well built and highly functional and compact design. Each are very bright with the headlight able to shine from low to high, blinking steady and SOS mode. Same with the rear light with red and blue, steady or blinking or combination of blue and red that will get attention from afar. There’s an easy to see blue readout of battery life on the headlight, very nice. I think that the brightest mode will sap the battery life of the headlight quicker because it is very bright and has 3 led’s instead of 1 or 2, but it still lasts long enough for a 4 or more hour burn on high between charges. Is a worthwhile investment in your safety.

Not quite
Shows it charges phone. It does, in 7 hrs and 14 minutes. Phone says check bad connection and it’s brand new out of the box. My phone usually takes 40 minutes. Built sturdy. Check local laws on color of tail lights, looks like 5.0 flash bar. Mounting hardware looks decent. After using this for 2 nights I love it. After using different modes, this really helps in safety, peripheral lighting and fog lights.

Really Bright and Versatile
I doubt the 8,000 lumen claim but it is plenty bright enough for night riding. My only complaint about the headlight is that you canât have the low beam solid with the high beam flashing or vice versa. Having a numeric battery life is amazing and extremely helpful. The mount is secure and steady. It can be difficult to remove the light from the mount but doable.UPDATE: The headlight doesnât charge at all with a USB-C to USB-C PD charger so you have to slow charge it which takes hours. I still wouldâve bought it but good information to know. The free taillight is not nearly as nice. Itâs quite bright but no battery indicator so you have no idea when it will die. I use it only as a secondary light. Multiple times Iâve completed a ride to find the taillight is no longer on. It will turn on again but the same thing happens until I charge it.

Bright light
I like this light a lot, despite it having a couple minor issues. Itâs very bright and perfect for night riding. It adjusts to different levels of brightness which is nice. It can be so bright that it makes homeless people unable to see who you are as you approach (was mistaken for a police officer, which I thought was funny). My only two issues would be the battery life is maybe a little short. Iâm not sure though as I have never used this kind of light before so I have nothing to compare it to. It certainly is bright so I suppose naturally it drains a bit quickly. Itâs no bother because it recharges fine. The mounts were also a bit weird but again thatâs more of an issue with me and my bike. I just need to adjust them more because theyâre nice mounts. Anyway, in summary 5 stars would recommend, maybe just have someone whoâs experienced help you mount it.Edit: I mounted it correctly and itâs great. Also the battery life is fine. When you push it on for either the high or low beam, push it one or two more times to get it too a lower brightness level. The first setting you push is for VERY bright and only necessary for fog. It naturally drains the battery faster but on lower brightness the battery life is much better. Thanks.

I bought this for a secondary light so I can get more light ahead of me so I can see and it works great especially on the trail at night when there is no lights
