Excelente producto
Recomendado 100%

The Good:-Makes a great cup of coffee (crema and everything)-Multiple capacities-Comes with bag-Small designThe OK:-Setup is a lot more work than most other coffee options (really espresso in general)The Bad:-Takes like 10 minutes of constant pumping to get 2 shots at max ground capacityI had to give this thing a shot with the award it got (no idea what the award actually is for) and the idea of being able to make espresso on the go. To start off they give you a great package including a bag and all the tools store internally. Filter basket accommodates 2 different ground amounts (assumably for double shots). Setup is pretty easy but a lot more work than a French press or pour over. The real drawback to this thing is the incredible amount of time it takes to extract shots, youâll basically do it one time on full capacity. Coffee quality was great and it really does extract crema just like an espresso machine. Itâs just hard to recommend something that takes 15 minutes (including setup) to create 2 shots. Personally, Iâll stick to my French press for camping but it can be a fun time waster for that guy you like to play jokes on.

Bit of a learning curve
This thing had me sorta stumped on first impressions. Simple but I guess that’s the beauty of it being that as few parts that can go wrong and pretty much just needing hot water in a thermos and some pre ground fine coffee for a quick fresh cup that smells great! While this isn’t going to replace any home kit but for camping or backpacking (or just helping family move when the new place doesn’t have power on yet) is just where this thing really shines while being just that extra bit kinda fun to show off!

MY NEW WAY OF HAVING COFFEE!
I had been on a hunt for a specific way to make my occasional coffee. My requirements: fresh ground from beans, no use of a machine (like a keureg), easiest cleanup, quickest/easiest way to make a decent brew. There are a few methods I have tried, and each one had their compromises. I have tried bag brewing, french presses, and the Aeropress. Besides the Aeropress, the other methods are left with sediment and for sure has diterpenes (substance in unfiltered coffee that raises bad cholesterol levels) because of the lack of a paper filter. The Aeropress is great because it is pretty easy to use and uses a filter, but cleanup is a bit messy and water-wasteful.With the Minipresso GR2, it is my number one way to make coffee/espresso now.First of all, the construction is really rugged and nice. It has a great heft and everything is compact. In fact, I can pre-load some grounds and store all the components in the upper hot water reservoir. This way I can immediately make a brew if I happen to be traveling or camping.I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t a process, but with some practice and use. The process is very easy for a portable method. It comes with some tools that all fit in the press itself when stored. Using the pump to press out the coffee is fairly easy but I can see it being cumbersome for those used to having a machine. Factoring that in that I use a manual grinder and have instant hot water, I can make my serving of espresso in less than 5 minutes.Cleanup is pretty easy. The puck is easily removed and tossed. After that, there are just 3 parts that you can just rinse and let dry. I would suggest maybe a more involved cleaning after several uses or if you are going to store it away for some time. You can remove the seals and do a simple disassembly and clean out the deeper parts. Otherwise just rinsing and allowing to dry seems to suffice for the most part. In all, using the Minispresso uses less water to brew AND clean up over the Aeropress. As for the filtering, there is zero sediment even without a paper filter. However, without a paper filter, diterpenes is still a health concern for me. No filters are made for this size but if you can find a 35 to 38 mm paper filter, you can easily use it with this Minipresso. I just do a radial fold of a coffee filter and snip out an octagon-ish circle to fit below the grounds. The press works just fine with a a filter in it too, just no size filter is commercially made for it.Although I feel like I have a pretty niche use for my coffee (only an occasional coffee drinker, preferring freshly grounded beans, portability, and health conscientiousness). This tiny manual espresso maker really fits my preferences. If you just want to be able to make a strong brew while camping or you are just somewhere where there’s not coffee shop around, this is a very neat and capable press.

Meh just get a picopresso
I bought this thinking it would be comparable to the picopresso. Man was I wrong. Just buy a picopresso. It is night and day. I would say this is closer to concentrated coffee instead of real espresso. It’s also very plasticy. It feels flimsy compared to the picopresso.
