Holds the tablet solidly with no vibration, but the case must be removed
I have a 9.7â (diagonal) iPad in a protective case. The bike mount holds the tablet firmly, with no vibration at the attaching points, without the case. The only problem is that even though this is a small tablet, the case prevents the tablet from being mounted in this gooseneck tablet bike mount. The thickness of the case prevents the tablet from being installed (while in its case) in the holder. For the holder to grip the tablet while in its case, the grips would have to be bigger so as to compensate for the thickness of the case. This gooseneck holder may work with some very thin cases. The solution, of course is to remove the iPad from its case (or get a much thinner case). I like the gooseneck holder, and it works well, gripping the handlebar on my 25-year-old Tunturi stationary bike. Another solution might be to get a protective case that is easy to remove and reinstall on the tablet so that you can use the tablet on the bike and then reinstall it in its case. Most cases I have experience with on tablets and phones take time and effort to install and remove.

Great for stationary bikes
I have an off brand stationary bike and a 13â iPad. This mount has been a no brainer for me. It attaches to my bike with ease and provides a sturdy mount for my iPad. It is versatile and allows for multiple positional and rotational adjustments. I can now watch shows, read, study, or do whatever I want on my iPad while cycling. The grip is sturdy and holds the iPad well without damaging it. Overall this has been a must-have addition to my home gym.
