   Works flawlessly
   I got the start up kit and have been so impressed! It stays on so well if you just prep your lips as recommended- moisturized, clean, and dry. It is a little hard to fix thin areas in your application as touch ups kind of scrape the old layer of blue off (like when you try to use a dry erase marker over existing dry erase marker), but for the most part the application is easy enough that I don’t need touch ups. And, I would suppose if I ever did end up with a thin patch in the final color, I could just re-apply a second coat once the first peels off. It lasts for hours and fades pretty uniformly so I don’t need to worry about looking weird in the middle stage. The color is vibrant and beautiful. I have not noticed a bad sensation on application.

   Great Product
   I love these lip stains! The color may fade but it lasts for hours and doesn’t transfer. I used to try to peel the purple/blue initial color off like in the videos, but found just wiping it off with a tissue to reveal the color underneath works just as well and is less messy. My favorite colors are Whimsical, Lovely, and XOXO (this one is very light but great for a no makeup look). Top them with a gloss (or don’t) and you’re good to go.

   Continues to darken over time
   I bought this product because the older I get, the more I CANNOT STAND leaving lipstick marks on my coffee cups and water bottles. It’s so gross. And I work from home so unless I am on camera for a meeting, I don’t wear lipstick around the house. The thought of applying a lipstain in the morning and enjoying lightly hued (but dry) lips throughout the day appealed to me!m So I gave it a try!In a nutshell, this product works. I bought the Whimsical. I have olive/tanned skin and a natural pink/brown lip color. The Whimsical is a brownish red on me and provides more color than I expected (I was hoping for something closer to my natural lip color in a pink/nude hue). The color is very different than the sample pics online. It’s easy to apply; I felt my lips drying out as the stain dried. It was easy to remove but continued to darken over the next couple of minutes. When I put a clear gloss on top, the color really popped. I won’t be wearing a clear gloss, though since that would defeat the purpose of being lipstick-free.One recommendation: You will need to exfoliate and moisturize your lips really well before using this. My lips were a bit dry and had a crack on one side (it’s dry here and the weather turned cold recently, making my lips chap right away) so the color was uneven in the corner of my mouth. Also, make sure to apply a smooth, generous coat (kinda like if you were applying a second coat of nailpolish), only make sure to apply the stain evenly and immediately. If you apply a coat, wait a few seconds and then try to back over with another coat, it won’t work. The first coat will smear and you won’t be able to apply over it (like I said, like nail polish).I ate dinner right away and immediately after, noticed that the color generally stayed on my lips but the outline was darker (like a lipliner). I hope this is just a symptom of my dry lips and will improve after exfoliation and moisturizing for next time.Lastly, when I received the tube, the product was sealed in a plastic wrap. However, when I removed the stick from the tube, there was product all over the top instead of being clean so I certainly hope this wasn’t previously used and re-sealed (see picture)! They lost a star because of this.

   Nice Color but doesn’t last as long as expected
   I tried the wipe off version first and liked it but wanted to try the peel and reveal version so I bought the set. I had high hopes for $35 but was a little disappointed to be honest. First I followed the instructions to the letter and after 4 seperate attempts have yet to be able to get it to peel off. Each time I ended up having to wipe it off. The color transfer was nice but as you can see in the picture above it faded and washed off before half my work day was complete (roughly 4 hours later). It doesn’t fade evenly so it looks a little weird as it starts to wear off. Granted I did eat breakfast and drink tea so this type of wearing off would be expected for regular liptsticks as well but I was hoping for some real staying power. Since there is a process to apply it I can’t really step away from my desk at the office to go reapply throughout the day. Application is a little tricky and the peal and reveal isn’t really a thing. Color transfer is great, nice and bold and looks really nice after a clear coat of gloss is applied. Staying power is weak but better then a regular lipstick.

   Fantastic product
   Romance was a great shade for me (cool to neutral pale skin, dark brown hair, green eyes). Every lip stain I have tried in the past leaves blotchy, uneven coloration on my lips, even if I exfoliate first. Not this one! I can put it on and go out to dinner with no need to reapply. No weird smell. Light artificial sweetener taste to the setting spray, not unpleasant and gone quickly. I bought this brand’s clear gloss too, and it was a nice compliment to the stain. I liked it so much, I bought more of the stain and setting spray when I ran out. Good price point for the quality of the product. It is a crazy looking metallic navy purple when you put it on, which is kind of fun. I’ve never had success peeling it off. I wet a cotton round or a cloth and rub it off. It does take a little practice and a steady hand so the edges don’t look wobbly or asymmetrical.

   Works great
   This definitely does what it says it will do. Goes on purple. But cleans off nicely and leaves a nice color on your lips. The key to a lip tinted is having a gloss to go over top. While this adds a good color, it does not moisturize. So make sure you have a gloss or chap stick to wear over top.

   I love this product, it lasts long enough even after consuming foods or drinking liquids. Doesn’t have a scent to it and application. The color just as advertised. No taste and texture dries out fast.
