Great little camera for the money!
Ok so I donât usually do reviews but I tried this camera out because it was on sale for Black Friday. Iâm a big time hunter and Iâve used all the popular brands out there. I got these just to use for more scouting. Pretty impressed for how cheap they are. Daytime pics are great, nighttime pics a pretty good and video is great! Super easy to setup and they are really small. About the size of the palm of you hand. If your wanting a good trail camera that doesnât break the bank give em a try. I liked the first one so much I ordered 3 more!

Switch failed, but problem solved
I ordered the camera on June 12 of this year, and it was a pleasure for six months, revealing unexpected animal traffic in our front yard. Then, this morning, December 24, I found that the switch had failed. It will no longer slide downward to the off position.Very disappointing. I see similar problems with the switch in other reviews. Some reviewers were able to message the seller, but I don’t see how to do that.Later: The camera’s “switch” is actually a small plastic gadget that moves an ordinary slide switch, hidden inside the case. That little plastic gadget is too delicate for the job, and when it breaks it can’t easily be fixed. But there’s an easy work-around.Take out the batteries and the SD card. Remove the rubber gasket (it’s not glued), open up the inner case (4 screws), then remove the circuit board (5 screws). Using a thin, fine-toothed saw (coping saw or hack saw), saw off a corner of the case, so the slide switch on the circuit board will be exposed (see photo). Blow out the plastic sawdust and put everything back together. You’ll have a working camera again, the weather seal won’t be affected, and the switch will be very easy to use. (And don’t worry–you can’t get a shock!)Still later: Wosports very kindly mailed me another trail cam, its G500 Pro model, which has multiple additional features. It’s a considerable upgrade, and highly rated, but I haven’t yet tried it. The G100 I already own has the great virtue of simplicity. It’s easy to use and it works well (after its plastic surgery). I’m quite happy with it. I may send the fancier one to my daughter for her birthday. My thanks to Wosports for its excellent customer support.

Thumbs up
Itâs a cheap camera but does itâs job. Decent/average photos. Nothing special. Exact same camera as the cheap tascos from Walmart. I have two tascos and 3 of these and I use them in addition to cellular cameras. Satisfied

Very good basic camera
1 YEAR UPDATE. The cameras have started to malfunction pretty regularly. I’ve left them out for 4 weeks at a time before checking the SD cards and I’m noticing that the displays are not acting right, the time/date and settings are getting scrambled, etc. and the batteries aren’t lasting as long as they used to. Also not capturing images as well as they used to. They’re on the property where I live, not way out in the back country. So my use case is not critical. For the price, I’m not heartbroken, but a bit disappointed.ORIGINAL REVIEW Easy to set up, just follow the (fair) instructions. Takes 4 batteries instead of 8. Mine has taken about 6,000 pictures in 3 weeks on the same batteries (not using for video, though).I should clarify that this camera is within walking distance to my house and I can check on it regularly. I can’t vouch for reliability leaving them unattended for long periods of time. Although it’s very hot and humid right now, my application is a fair, moderate climate. I’m not leaving this for weeks/months to take pics of massive critters on the Brooks range in Alaska. The pictures are not cinematic quality, of course, but are very good for this price range. Night pictures are also very good. It works great for my needs so far.

Awesome image quality, poor battery life
I was very pleased with the quality of the video clips. However, I left the camera set up for about 10 days taking video clips, and it stopped taking clips. I used high quality batteries but it still stopped working. I was able to turn it off and it turned back on, but I wasn’t convinced of the value if it is only going to work for 10 days at a time.

Far more than expected; one small problem- UPDATE
For whatever reason, the last couple I bought were defective: one failed to power on, one had a bad camera. Customer service left a LOT to be desired. No longer recommendLet’s be clear about this: I bought these because they are inexpensive. I was not expecting much: basic picture and video combined with meh motion detection. Got tired of far more expensive units growing legs and walking away, and figured these would suffice. They did not suffice; they excelled! Their small size and utter simplicity make for a combination better than the sum of it’s parts. Everything extraneous has been removed, leaving a simple trail cam that does a remarkably good job. Easily concealed, long battery life, crisp video: what more could you ask for in an inexpensive, but good* quality trail cam?* The quality would be outstanding, if not for the on/off switch. About 10 days in, one of the switches fell off, never to be seen again. The switch actually covers a tiny switch inside: fortunately a thin pair of hook removal pliers ( for fishing) allow me to still use the units. ( The second unit has a crack in the switch ; I expect it to fail any time ). Aside from this one issue, this is a solid, good performing machine: indeed, I intend to buy several more

Great budget trail cams!
For the money, these have been great cameras! I live in a harsh environment, and have had my oldest camera out for approximately a year and half with no issues. Its been out in temps ranging from 100+ to -25 degrees Fahrenheit without issue, no fogging or condensation and they are fairly gentle on batteries. They shoot great day and night pictures, easily outperform cameras twice their cost. Only thing that i think could use improvement is the screw in mount, it gets knocked off angle pretty easily. Strap works great though if you dont need to aim it. Ive included a picture from my property, ignore the angle, a deer bumped this one with its nose earlier that week.
