These tires are awesome. The low rolling resistance is noticeable compared to my old knobby tires. I’m able to ride around my city in confidence and can now keep up with people with better gearing. They look great too. Lots of people prefer to remove the lettering, but I think the bright white decals give off a great vintage vibe. The rubber feels tough as well. Looking forward to the next ride with these on. Highly recommend.

Outstanding customer service form vendor.
First tire was defective and had a sidewall blowout on the first ride while at 50 psi. However when the vendor was notified of the defect, with pictures, a new tire was quickly shipped. He also even replaced the blown tube. These tires are used on my fs bike to use on the street in place of the knobby trail tires I use for trail riding in the woods. They have much less rolling resistance and are almost silent on the pavement.

Fantastic urban tires!
After much research and reading as much as I can about these tires, I decided to give the ThickSlicks a try on my 27.5″ MTB, and it was a total Win~!99% of my riding takes place on smooth bikeways, such as the 50-mile-long Santa Ana River Trail (SART), and the ThickSlicks are perfectly designed for such surfaces. The tires are heavier than my previous Continental X-King MTB tires that came with my wheelset, but once you get the ThickSlicks rolling, they glide effortlessly and quietly.I took the tires on some hardpack dirt trails and they performed fine. I did have to be more careful, though, when cornering and when going through deeper sand spots.The tires were easy to mount onto my 25mm inner width wheels and they didn’t give me any trouble.I recently did a 41-mile ride from a city to the beaches then back, and the ThickSlicks increased my average speed and reduced leg fatigue compared to riding on the knobby MTB tires.I would definitely keep on buying the ThickSlicks. 5 Star Win~! ð

Clean looking tire
I ordered a set of these for my specialized road bike. They’re decent. They are thicker in the center than most tires and I would assume that with a good wheel and tire liner these will hold up a long time. Good for commuting, maybe not so much for racing.

Solid tire, exaggerated advertising
Hook works are over used, thatâs why I went with this. Itâs a good tire, I donât think they should advertise it as 2x tread life or extra long rubber life or whatever they called it, the tire is pretty thin all around, itâs slightly thicker where it contacts the ground but itâs pretty thin compared to the regular tire, I was expecting it to be thicker hence the name thick slick and the advertising. Decent tire nonetheless, just pretty thin and I didnât expect that

Sturdy well built .
Just got them on n rode 20 miles. All is good. Last pair lasted 6 years. These are a little bit wider 2.0 to the old 1.85. can’t tell the difference. Easy to go on rim. Looks great. Very grippy.

Great tires
I’ve been using these tires for many years. I use liners and flat proof tubes. I was riding on bike path. Landscapers blew goat heads into bike path. When I went past I realized what had happened. I removed 12 goat heads from front tire. And14 from rear. no flats for me. Other riders had to get someone to bring new tubes or give them ride home. I used these tires for 16 years to ride to work. One time the stem broke. but tube was like 8 years old. This is the only tire I will use on my Ridley Bike.

Soy ciclista mtb y recientemente me compré un rodillo cycleops fluid 2 pa entrenar en casa. Obviamente montar la llanta de tacos no era opción ya que el ruido es insoportable y se gasta la llanta muy repentinamente. Asà que investigando encontré que podÃa ponerse una llanta de ruta en el aro 29â y funcionó a medias ya que no calzaba correctamente y tenÃa un brinco incómodo en el rodillo. Asà que buscando llantas aquà en Amazon me encontré con esta y oh por Dios!! Una experiencia totalmente satisfactoria. No sabÃa que existÃan llantas listas para mtb y pues calza correctamente solucionando el problema del brinco, además que en rodillo sentà algo más familiar el usar esta llanta, asà como si anduviera en la calle.Solo espero sea duradera y aguante cientos de kms. La recomiendo totalmente si tienes rodillo y piensas montarle una bike mtb pa entrenar.

Bought this tire to use on my mountain bike with my stationary trainer. My tire size was 1.95×26 and this fit perfectly.It is much quieter then mountain bike tires on the trainer. I have not used it much but it seems of good quality and I expect it to last considering I’m only using it on my trainer.

J’ai acheté deux pneus et un était cassé, j’ai demandé un changement ou un remboursement mais les délais techniques étaient expirés… J’aurais dû le monter tout de suite pour m’en rendre compte tout de suite, mais il n’en demeure pas moins qu’il était cassé.
